Welcome to Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Education

SCBIHE was set up in 2012 as Degree College in Lucknow city. It has three departments and three courses. It offers BCom, BSc, and BTC undergraduate programs. The institute has good infrastructure in computing, laboratories and central library including. All the departments have separate computing facility in addition to the central facility. SCBIHE is located near IIM Lucknow campus in Prabandh Nagar and just 10 kilometers from University Engineering College Junction in Lucknow city. The Subhash Chandra Bose College is named after the strong freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose which reflects the strong will and vision of the founders of the college to make the students strong not only physically but also mentally, emotionally and intellectually. The management feels that in the present scenario of deteriorating economy and pathetic condition of education in a country like India with cultural pluralities and diversities , it is essential that students imbibe the appropriate values commensurate with social, cultural, economic and environmental realities at the local, national and universal levels.The Subhash Chandra Bose P.G College is accredited by NAAC with B grade. Subhash Educational Society is dedicated to the cause of Educational and Social upliftment of weaker sections of the society. The society is running two Inter colleges, one industrial training institute, one law college and seven primary education centres under’ MEDHAVI’ SCHEME for the upliftment of the rural education. To foster Global competencies among students the college provides free Foreign Language classes in French ,German Russian, Spanish and Japanese .

Towards the completion of the selected programs, each student receives comprehensive training on personality development and communication skills. This includes Effective Resume Preparation, Mock Interviews, Group Discussion sessions, personality Development workshops Intensive English speaking classes The management also organizes In-service teachers orientation and faculty self management workshops to keep them abreast with the latest development in the internationally accepted methodology and the latest career options to guide their students. The institute runs a Guidance and Counseling Cell for career and further higher education. The college –school-community has a strong networking and linkages with local, national and international research and academic organizations.
